Meet Shay - Our Director
Shay is the Director of our business and a proud Auckland local, born and raised right here in Auckland. With 28 years of plumbing experience, he completed his apprenticeship and gained his Certifying Plumber qualifications in New Zealand, building his career from the ground up.
After working for 11 years as a plumber, Shay decided to take the leap and start his own business — and he hasn’t looked back since. What began as a bold step has grown into a company built on quality workmanship, strong relationships, and a genuine commitment to the community.
For nearly three decades, Shay has been serving the East and South Auckland communities, earning a reputation for reliability, workmanship, and genuine customer care. His deep local knowledge and hands-on experience mean clients can feel confident they’re in trusted, capable hands.
Outside of work, Shay is a national and international touch referee, combining his passion for sport with opportunities to travel and experience new places. He loves the outdoors, enjoys fishing whenever he can, and describes himself as an “active relaxer” — always happiest when he’s doing something productive or adventurous.
Shay lives in East Auckland with his wife, Lynley, their teenage son, and their two dogs, Chase and Scout. Family, community, and integrity are at the heart of everything he does — both on and off the job.
